My name is Kelly, and I'm a junior in college. I'm a Journalism major, with minors in Spanish and Sport Communication.
This blog began as a way to link my two biggest passions in life- sports and baking. This summer I worked as a sports intern at one of Washington DC's top television stations, and I used this blog (formerly known as "Sugar Baby Sports") to write about stories we covered. That internship is now over, as I will be heading back to school soon, and I decided to shift the focus of this blog to baking, hence the name change.
I'm eager to take the next step in this blogging adventure- I'm revamping the design, adding new elements, and trying to make it more professional. I'm still very new to this world, but I'm eager to learn more about it as I go.
I will keep my sports-related posts up, as it was a big part of the first phase of this blog. However, my posts will now exclusively be baking-related. As I head back to school, I am so very excited to have my own kitchen for the first time in college! I can't wait to get started, and I plan to bake at least once a week every week. So please, join me on this journey! It's going to be an exciting ride :)
